THE GOODS:

The DOUGH:

Payments are accepted through PayPal, Venmo, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Shipping is operated through Fed Ex Shipping. Shipping prices will depend on your zip code from Colorado and must be shipped by either one- or two-day shipping. one day shipping is much more expensive than two-day but during some times of year it is the safest bet to protect your new friend.

Safety First and what is a hub:

a Hub is a Fed ex receiving center that has climate-controlled storage for animals. The Hub will take care and precautions for your animals. Often, they call you to let you know your baby is there. Tracking comes by email also. I follow the Morph Market and Fed Ex shipping guidelines and will postpone shipping in the event of extreme high or low temperature/weather advisories. The safest way to ship your spiders is to send to a Fed Ex Hub, so that method is preferred. DOA (Dead on arrival) is only guaranteed if you are receiving your spider at a Fed Ex Hub. I can ship to a home but be aware that this voids the DOA warranty. Shipments will be sent on Tuesday of each week. NOTE: If you purchase a spider on Sunday or Monday it will be shipped out the following Tuesday to ensure it has eaten, hydrated and is prepared well for travel. Backup shipping day is Wednesday. I will not ship on Thursday or Friday as the risk is too high for a delay or weekend delivery where a Hub may not be open. During peak shipping season over the holidays in December, one day shipping is the only available option. We only ship to locations in the United States.

What is aoa and DOA?
We have an Alive on Arrival policy which applies to all HUB received spiders. This is due to the special handling and precautions and climate control measures they take with handling live animals. Shipping to your home puts this policy agreement at risk. I won't guarantee Alive on Arrival when received at your home. If you have a case of Dead-on Arrival, and used the Hub, you may receive reimbursement by taking a picture alongside the shipping label visible with a time stamp. You are able to choose to ship to your home, Reports of a damaged or DOA spider must be reported within 2 hours of receiving your spider. Please contact us immediately through the form of communication we have used: Morph Market messenger, Facebook Messenger, or website. Maverick the Jumping Spider is not responsible for reimbursements if you do not pick up your spider the day it is available at the HUB. if you insist on home delivery, it is recommended to pay close attention to the shipping time through tracking.

There was a natural disaster:

If a delay is due to issues beyond my control a refund for DOA will not be covered. These would be in the event of severe weather delays, airport closures, local road closures, tornados etc. This is why we must be patient if there are weather advisories. If a delay is caused by a requested service change by the recipient (incorrect address, delivery location change, reroute etc.) you will not be eligible for reimbursement/replacement.

The emperor's new clothes:
All sales are final. Colors of spiders often vary after each molt. That is outside anyone's control. It can be very exciting to see how they change. Embrace their personalities and love for you over their changing colors. Sexing a spider is an incomplete science and is not 100% guaranteed until the spider is matured. It is my intention to make an educated assessment as accurately as possible to determine gender. Again, buyer beware, that if at a later date it is determined the gender is not what you wanted, please be advised there are no refunds. It is very difficult to tell when they are younger through subadult. If I am unsure, I will say TBD on Gender in the Ad in morph market or reach out to you and let you know that if am unsure on gender.

Smile for the camera:
Pictures in the ad are of the exact spider being sold unless noted in the description on Morph Market. All sales are final. When asking to purchase a spider and you are offered information you request, if you do not respond to the seller within 2 hours of being contacted back by the seller, any spider in question will be open for adoption to the next inquiry. After purchase, the spider will be sent to buyer the following Tuesday after purchase assuming weather is appropriate to send.

Babysitting:

The maximum we will hold your spider is 9 days unless there are specific circumstances or special requests worked out between buyer and seller. In the case of a mis molt during our care in that week we will be obligated to replace the spider during the first 9 day maximum but are not liable to replace after that period of time.
