Maverick the jumping spider is a small family operated business. The inspiration for Maverick came from the lifestyle we have experienced as an adventurous family. Over the years we've camped, rock climbed, rappelled, skied, sledded, biked, hiked, ranched and more. With us you will find jumpers only. We do not make enclosures, so please see resources on our site for easy DYI, bioactive and awesome enclosures also available through our preferred partners. There are many creative solutions so have fun with it.

If you are new to Jumpers, it can be helpful to engage with the community by joining Groups on Facebook such as The Friendly Jumping Spider or Jumping Spider Newbies. Please follow our page if you don't already. There's a huge amount of information and experiences people share that can be a great resource and help to you.
Shipping will usually be on Tuesdays. Orders placed by the Sunday prior will be shipped out the following Tuesday to prepare the spider, hydrate, feed and properly package with care. It is preferred to ship to a Fed ex Receiving center/hub over residence for temperature control and less risks in transport.
